OrbitRemit is excited to announce the launch of a new, convenient way to pay for your international money transfers – using your debit card! Allowing you to manage your international payments with more flexibility and speed, making a transfer with OrbitRemit just got even easier.
How Does It Work?
Log into your OrbitRemit account as normal through the website or mobile app. Once you’ve created a transfer and reached the ‘Payment Method’ screen, simply select ‘Pay with Debit Card‘ to make a card payment. From there, you’ll be prompted to enter your card details to complete your payment. It’s as simple as that!
If it’s your first time making a transfer with OrbitRemit, check out our guide to creating your first transfer on our Help Centre.
Once your payment is received, we’ll update the status of your transfer right away and send you a confirmation email.

Currently, debit card payments are available in Australia. To ensure a smooth transaction, please use a valid, non-expired card issued by a financial institution in Australia. We accept both Visa and MasterCard, and the card must be held in your name.
Please note, paying with debit card may not be available for larger transfers. The maximum amount you can pay by card will be shown on the Payment Method screen. Sometimes debit card payments are subject to an additional fee (surcharge) but don’t worry – any applicable fees will be calculated and shown before you complete the payment.
See our Help Centre article for further details on paying with debit card, including refund information.
We look forward to our customers enjoying this new feature alongside OrbitRemit’s secure technology and great rates to make money transfers even more convenient! As always, the OrbitRemit team is here to support you every step of the way. If you have any questions or need assistance with debit card payments, visit our Help Centre or reach out via [email protected].
