Before you start — what you’ll need
Before creating your transfer, collect the following details from your recipient. You’ll need all of these to complete the transfer:

Important: Make sure the mobile number you enter is correct. Your recipient will receive an SMS with their collection reference number on this number. Without it, they won’t know the cash is ready or have the reference to collect.

Log in and start a transfer
Log in to your OrbitRemit account at orbitremit.com. If this is your first transfer with OrbitRemit, you’ll need to create an account and complete identity verification first.
Once logged in, select Vietnam as the destination country and enter the amount you want to send.

Create a cash pickup recipient
When adding your recipient, select “A person who will collect funds” as the recipient type.
Note: If you have previously sent money to this person’s bank account, you still need to create a new recipient for cash pickup. Bank deposit and cash pickup recipients are stored separately in OrbitRemit — you cannot reuse a bank deposit recipient for a cash pickup transfer.

Pay for your transfer
Once your transfer is created, proceed to payment and pay as soon as possible.
Why this matters: OrbitRemit will not release the transfer for collection until your payment has been received. The faster you pay, the sooner your recipient can collect their cash.

Your recipient collects the cash
Once OrbitRemit receives your payment, the transfer is released for collection at any Vikki Digital Bank branch in Vietnam.
Your recipient will receive an SMS notification on their Vietnamese mobile number letting them know the cash is ready to collect, along with their transfer reference number.
What your recipient needs to bring to collect
Your recipient must bring the following to any Vikki Digital Bank branch to collect their cash:

Transfer status — what to expect
Once you’ve sent your transfer, you can track it in real time by logging into your OrbitRemit account and selecting Transfers.

- Awaiting Payment — Your transfer has been created. Pay now to proceed.
- Processing Funds — OrbitRemit has received your payment and is processing the transfer.

Yes. The cash pickup limit is 75,000,000 VND per transaction. If you need to send more, split across multiple transfers. For bank deposit transfers, the daily limit to personal accounts is 499,999,999 VND.
Does my recipient need a Vietnamese bank account to receive the cash?
No. Cash pickup transfers are designed specifically for recipients who don’t have a bank account, or who prefer to collect cash in person. Your recipient just needs to visit any Vikki Digital Bank branch with their reference number and two forms of photo ID.
How long does a cash pickup transfer to Vietnam take?
