Planning transfers during the holiday period

For those who need to send money overseas during the holiday period, OrbitRemit has got you covered. You can make a transfer as normal through the OrbitRemit app or on our website, with a few exceptions.

Please be aware that the following bank holidays may affect transfer processing times:

Australia & New Zealand

  • 25 December, 2023: Christmas Day
  • 26 December, 2023: Boxing Day
  • 1 January, 2023: New Years Day
  • 2 January, 2023: Day after New Years Day (New Zealand only)

On these dates, there may be delays processing transactions, and it’s important to plan accordingly. We recommend scheduling your transfers in advance to ensure timely processing. 

Please also be aware of any bank holidays in your destination country that could impact delivery time and take these into account when planning your transfer.
